Abstract : The current study aims to reveal the relationship between the practices followed by mothers during distance learning and the level of academic achievement of primary grade students in the city of Jazan. The researcher used the descriptive correlative approach; To describe the relationship between mothers' practices during distance learning and the level of academic achievement of female primary school students. The study tools included a questionnaire on mothers’ practices during distance learning prepared by the researcher, which included the following topics: (communication between mother and student, home supervision, homework assistance, material and moral stimulation, communication with teachers), in addition to the students’ test scores in my courses ( Mathematics and Arabic language), and the sample consisted of female students in the primary classes in government schools in the city of Jazan and their mothers, who were selected through the (random) sample, and their number was 381 students. Quantitative data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages, extracting arithmetic means and standard deviations, in addition to using Pearson's correlation coefficient and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results revealed that there is a direct relationship between the practices of (home supervision, and communication with teachers) and the level of academic achievement of students in the Arabic language course, and there is a direct relationship between the practices of (mother-student communication, home supervision, and homework assistance) and the level of academic achievement of students in the mathematics course , but it is a weak direct relationship due to the high grades of students in the courses and the lack of diversity of grades, while there is no relationship between the practice of (physical and moral stimulation) and the level of academic achievement in both courses. There are no statistically significant differences from the point of view of the study sample members towards practices due to the variable The student’s academic grade, there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample’s viewpoint towards practices due to the variable of the mother’s educational level. In light of the results, the researcher recommends: Emphasizing the development of the student's self-learning ability, encouraging her to seek information on her own while providing assistance only when necessary, Providing mothers with courses on proper practices and how to apply them during distance learning.
