Abstract |

The researcher, in this study, came into a preamble of Judiciary concerning explanation of definition of judiciary of Sharia, with stating the importance of judiciary, rules and conditions for those who take control over judiciary. Then, a glimpse of Judiciary status in Hijaz at the Ottoman Era prior to the research. After that, the researcher, in the first chapter, referred to the judicial organizations in the Ottoman State and their effects on Madina Munawara and divisions that resulted. In the second chapter, the study talks about the judicial groups in Madina Munawara including judicial bodies ( formal & traditional ), basic judicial specialties (Legal & Criminal) for judges in Madina Munawara, also in the same chapter about the revenues of Madinas judges. In the third chapter, the study reviewed the role of judges in economic & political life. The researcher concluded this study in the fourth chapter explaining the role of judiciary in the scientific & social life. Finally, The research introduced many outcomes of which the most prominent is removing many suspicions, and discussed many thoughts promoted by orientalist historians against the Ottoman State in a way that presents excuse and ensures the connection between judiciary and Islamic Sharia in that era.
