Document Details Document Type : Article In Journal  Document Title : Various Anatomic Configurations Encountered in Palatal Root Canals of Various Anatomic Configurations Encountered in Palatal Root Canals of   Document Language : English  Abstract : Aim: to investigate the various anatomic configurations encountered clinically in the palatal root canals of maxillary molars. Methodology: conventional endodontic treatment was conducted on 85 cases of maxillary first and second molars and the frequency of occurrence of double palatal canals and their types was recorded. Results and conclusions: 6% of the clinically treated maxillary molars were found to possess two canals in their palatal roots. Three types of palatal canals’ configuration were illustrated.
