Abstract : The subject dealt with throughout this thesis is “tribes delegations coming to the prophet (peace be upon him) during the ninth Hejrian year”. The thesis is divided into a prelude, three chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references. The prelude denotes to the importance of the subject proposed and the study of its main historical resources. The prelude describes the fact that the coming of tribes delegations to the prophet (peace be upon him) was not a surprising event, being anticipated by some introductions in both eras of the prophet’s mission either in Makkah or in Madinah. The first chapter contains a description of “the religious position of Makkah in the heart of Arabs, and their listening to news of the new religion during the pilgrimage and trade season”. It also talks about offering Islam outside Makkah having no hope of any positive response from Quraish. The chapter then explains the propitious sings of the mission among Arab tribes. It also describes how the prophet (peace be upon him) offered his mission to arab tribes who were coming to Makkah during famous seasons, until by aid of the almighty, AL-Ansar of Madinah believed in his mission and responded to him. The second chapter is titled “Sulhul-Hudaibia (Al-Hudaibia’s reconciliation) and its effect on the party Success of the mission”. It talks about the effect of “Ghazawat” (battles headed by the prophet) and “Saraya” (military expeditions sent by the prophet) on the spread of Islam among some tribes. It also describes messages sent to sheikhs of Arab tribes to offer Islam to them, and their reaction to same. The chapter deals with the Ghazawat and Saraya of prophet (peace be upon Him) which led to some heathens becoming Muslims. It den otes to Al-Hudaibia’s truce and how it was used by the prophet (peace be upon him) to expand the basis of his mission. During that truce, the prophet sent many messages to chiefs and sheikhs of Arab tribes offering Islam to them. Reaction of those tribes towards the prophet’s offer is explained. The third and last chapter is titled tribes delegations coming to the prophet (peace be upon him) after the capture of Makkah. “This chapter is divided into three sections: the effect of capturing Makkah on the Arabs acceptance of Islam”, “Ghazwat Hunain and thaqeef becoming Muslim” and “delegations and methods of enforcing Islam among delegations individuals
